The Big Announcement!

Hello everyone,

Just thought you`d like to know that Sophie Louise arrived this morning at 11.30 by caeasarean section. She weighed in at.........wait for it, 9lbs. 15ozs! and is doing really well. Kerry is very tired and has low iron levels but after some treatment she should feel a lot better. She is an absolute darling and Jim and I have fallen completely in love with her. I tried to post a photo but Blogspot won`t let me. I`ll be back tomorrow with a more detailed posting but for now its` been a long day and I`m tired out. Night Night. :o)

Love and Hugs

  20. Sandra & Jim, CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your grandaughter. Please welcome her to the world from me & pass on my welcome to the new parents, brother & to Sophie herself. A baby that size is bound to be beautiful. My son weighed in at 8lbs 13 1/2 oz. I thought HE was a big one. I didn't have a Caesarian nor did they have epidurals back then. LOL I'm SO happy for you all.
If you get time time, check out the photos of the hail taken Thursday evening. It was thick as snow on the ground in places. The largest stone I saw was the size of an ExLg hen egg. Most of it was marble size and we had a lot of it golfball size. Will have to get out tomorrow & inspect for damages. Am a little worried about the roof.
Again, I am tickled "pink" for you all. Best wishes to all of you.
Love n Hugs, Barb in drenched (FINALLY) Wst TX
